A LOT of changes have been made to FL Studio in the nearly 20 years of its production. Fruity Loops, and was just a four-channel midi drum machine at that time.

I think many people disregard FL Studio for what it started out as. FL Studio has stepped up its game hard over the last few years. I constantly hear Logic users complain about updates crashing their programs and making certain vst plug ins malfunction. I’ve composed, mixed and mastered tracks in FL Studio that stump Logic in quality. Image-Line offers great deals to its customers and they’re incredibly loyal and their customer support is exceptional, unlike Apple which primes itself and charging a 40% mark up on the exact same specs of its competing opposition (and Mac users think they’re better HA!) At the end of the day you use what ever works for you. You get life time free updates meaning you pay for it once. The routing features and native plug ins are beyond exceptional and Maximus is probably the greatest thing ever conceived. The amount of manipulation in FL Studio’s piano roll is better than ANY OTHER DAW. It makes the simplest tasks unnecessarily complicated which wastes time and kills the creativity buzz.
Seriously? As someone who has used both Logic, Ableton and FL Studio, FL Studio is by far the better of all of them (mind you my opinion is bias).
